Modern societies face the challenge of achieving sustainable energy development. To achieve this ambitious objective, the Demand Management Laboratory (GAD) makes use of domestic electrical infrastructures, improving the quality of supply and facilitating greater integration of renewable energies, thus minimizing energy costs.

The aim is to improve the efficiency of an electrical system by acting on demand, without affecting its usefulness or quality of use. In this way, we contribute to the improvement of efficiency in the planning, operation and distribution of electrical energy through the testing of new materials, products and advanced processes. All of this through new value-added applications, in a sustainable way and with low environmental impact whose benefits are passed on to the user.

From the laboratory, we provide our servicesto:

  • Home appliance manufacturers
  • Manufacturers of control devices
  • Home Automation Service Integrators and Installers
  • Energy Service Companies
  • Electro-intensive companies

Our objective is to optimize domestic electricity consumption in households, reducing the final cost of the bill and the environmental impact, as well as providing the consumer with information on the price and origin of energy.
