UTE Alumbrado Paterna is a candidate for the best energy project award of the Association of Energy Engineer in the U.S.

The project, which achieved the award of the mixed contract for Electricity supply and Energy Systems and Integral Maintenance of Paterna, already implemented and opertating in this town since the beginning of 2015 as Energy Services Company (ESCO) formed by the companies Germanía and Gas Natural Servicios, was proposed for the Regional Awards Program of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

The project competes with savings of more than 65% and 3.5 million Euros investment in different proposals of Western Europe.

The award aimed by the ESCO is for the best innovative project about energy management.

Through the Regional Awards Program, AEE shines the light on the important work that is being done in energy by individuals, organizations, agencies, and corporations.

AEE is the strongest recognized membership of professionals in the field of energy, mostly engineers, with more than 17,000 registered professionals in 90 countries all over the world. AEE was founded in 1977 in the U.S. Its mission is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development.” Since 1981, AEE is the leading certification body in professional energy Administrators.

The awards will be presented in September at the Washington Convention Center, in Washington DC.
