At the end of the workshop, companies talked with the representative of CDTI to exhibit their project proposals and seek synergies and funding opportunities
About 30 companies linked to the energy sector participated in the workshop called “Incentive of R+D+I activities in companies of the energy sector in the Valencian Community. How to get funding for innovative projects”, which had the aim of informing and advising on available funding instruments for R+D+I of CDTI, that could be useful in enhancing the growth and/or consolidation of the activity of the company.
The presentation of the conference had been carried out by the councillor responsible for Renewable Energies and Climate Change, Jordi Peris, the technical director of the Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía, Esther Mocholí, and the president of the Asociación Valenciana de Empresas del Sector de la Energía (AVAESEN), Marcos J. Lacruz. After the opening, Gabriel Barthelemy, the director of Promotion and Cooperation department of CDTI, explained the main funding lines that the Center offers to companies of the energy sector.
Moreover, had been presented successful cases of companies that benefited from past CDTI’s aids: AUDITESA, SERNOVEN and ROTARY WAVE. All of them coincided in the accessibility of this aid for SMEs.
Finally, Gabriel Barthelemy carried out a practical workshop explaining the guidelines and the recommendations in the preparation of business R&D proposals, Innovation Lines and Neotech, and he presented incentives to innovate and tax reductions for R+D+I that are available for companies. The event closed with the participation of David Orrico, Energy Coordinator of InnDEA Valencia Foundation.
After the workshop, attendees had the opportunity to discuss their own projects in a bilateral meeting, where the representative of CDTI offered personalized advice.
