The Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía (ITE) participated last Thursday 3rd of November in the meeting for the start of the project MAIGE that took place in the Offices of Gas Natural Fenosa in Madrid.
This project combines the necessary business leadership with the support of research centers and universities that will enable the national energy sector to keep on leading the development of energy infrastructures at European and world level.
The Consortium is led by GAS NATURAL SDG S.A. and, in addition to ITE, it is formed by the companies ZIV Metering Solutions, S.L., Aplicaciones Tecnológicas, S.A., Ixion Industry And Aerospace, S.L. , and the research entities Universidad Politécnica De Madrid and Fundación CIRCE (Centro de Investigación de Recursos y Consumos Energéticos).
The Project MAIGE is focused on the concept Management of Assets, with a direct impact on the degree of inspection and maintenance of the gas and electricity distribution facilities, in which it is intended to reinforce the assets of smart management, enabling remote performances. Companies which will decide to integrate this solution will have the benefit of saving time, cost and security.
ITE participates in the Project focusing on the design and development of a Smart system for the diagnosis and maintenance of the energy assets of a medium voltage grid, starting from the centralisation of the information coming from the devices and sensors the will be developed by the industry in the project.
the Project is framed within the call RETOS colaboración, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness and by the European Regional Development Fund.
